Unable to log into desktop or duplicate connection
We have currently identified an issue with the SAIL Desktops.
If you are presented with multiple options as shown here, e.g. SAIL Standard, and one link works, please mark this as a favourite by clicking the star in the bottom left corner.
Loading Failed has been experienced by a small number of users, we are currently investigating the issue. If the above does not work, please log a ticket on the helpdesk.
Unable to log into Web-based VMware Horizon
Some users have had issues logging into the HTML Access version of VMware Horizon. Users are advised to launch the Horizon client through the SAIL portal. If there are issues using the Horizon client please ensure that you are working with the latest version.
App Volumes manager Error
If this error message "AppVolsMan-2" appears it is likely due to a server error, please log a ticket with our helpdesk.
If you recieve AppVolsman-3 error, please ignore this message, providing you have your applications attached. If not, please log off and reconnect to the desktop.
Eclipse or the R interface lagging
Restart the desktop, if there is still lagging then please log a ticket with our helpdesk.

I've been advised to log off and reconnect but I'm still having an issue
To log off Windows please use one of these methods:
From Horizon Desktop Client:
From Horizon HTML Access (Web Client):
Click the tab on the centre-left of the screen to display the menu, click the 'list icon' and then 'Log off'.
From the Windows Start menu:
Right-click the Windows icon on the Task Bar, click 'Shut down or Sign out', then 'Sign out'
VS Code missing Extensions

Close VS Code and launch from the VS Code Extensions shortcut on your desktop
