Scheduled Maintenance

We scheduled monthly maintenance windows. We try to keep disruptive non-urgent activities within these windows so inconvenience our users as little as possible. Scheduled maintenance includes things like reboots, upgrades and migrations. We try to warn users of affected systems what to expect in the week before the planned maintenance.

Maintenance happens on the third Thursday of the month usually between 10 am and 1 pm. All services we run are at risk during this period.

Maintenance dates for 2019:

  • 17th January
  • 21st February
  • 21st March
  • 18th April
  • 16th May
  • 20th June
  • 18th July
  • 15th August
  • 19th September
  • 17th October
  • 21st November
  • 19th December

Emergency Maintenance

Sometimes we need to carry out emergency maintenance, we try to give users as much notice of this as possible. Emergency maintenance includes things like hardware replacement, urgent security updates and urgent bug fixes where functionality is impaired for some or all users.

We attempt to carry out emergency maintenance outside of core hours where possible to minimise its impact on users.
