How to install officially supported software onto your CHI networked desktop computer.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open "Software Center" from the start menu
  2. This will list some software available and on the installation status any and all software that is installing, including software updates, patches.
  3. To access the list of available software there is a hyper link int he top left called "Find additional application from the Application Catalog"
  4. This opens a website at http://sccm2012r2.chi.swan.ac.uk/CMApplicationCatalog/ This site uses silverlight SO WE PROBABLY ONLY WORK IN INTERNET EXPLORER (IE)
  5. Login using your desktop login and select the application you want and press install, after confirming the software should be listed in "Software Center" in the Installation status tab.
